Mt.Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan
located on Honshu Island at 3,776.24 m.
An active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707–08,
Mt.Fuji lies about 100 kilometres south-west of Tokyo,
and can be seen from there on a clear day.
There are four major routes from the fifth station
to the summit with an additional four routes
from the foot of the mountain.
The fifth station on Yoshida route at 2.305 m(富士山吉田口五合目)
